Does your role require you to be aware of what everyone across your institution is working on? Do your colleagues often come to you, and ask if you would facilitate an interdisciplinary meeting, which is intended to produce novel research proposals? Do you find that you are sometimes stuck to come up with new ways of getting faculty to engage with one another? If so, you probably belong in this community!
We set up FIR to give research development staff a place to share common challenges, learn from one another, and develop new ideas. The community is quite informal. It is open to anyone who would like to learn about this area, and we encourage you to invite colleagues who might find these topics useful.
The simplest way to get involved is to sign up for the mailing list, using the form below. We will then send you an invitation to our online discussion forum, and tell you about the monthly video meetings.
